How To: Autofocus the Hardware

Autofocusing hardware in The Boring Toolbox ensures the device's settings are automatically adjusted for optimal performance. Currently supported hardware are Axis, Hanwha, Bosch. 

Follow these steps to enable autofocus on the hardware:

Steps to Autofocus Hardware

1. Navigate to Hardware:
   
   
   • Once logged in, select the "Hardware" option from the navigation menu.
     
2. Select the Hardware:
   
   
   • On the Hardware page, expand the server and select the hardware you want to autofocus.  Select one or many hardware at the same time.  
     
     
3. Autofocus the Hardware:
   
   
   • After selecting the hardware, the "Control" button should appear in the floating menu.
   • Click on the "Control" button.
   • From the dropdown menu, select the "Auto focus" option.
     
     
     
4. Confirm Autofocus:
   
   
   • A confirmation dialog should appear. Confirm the autofocus action by clicking on the "YES, AUTO FOCUS" button.
