The “HTTPS” option allows you to enable or disable HTTPS communication for a specific hardware device. Follow these steps to adjust this setting.
Turning On the “HTTPS” Option
- Navigate to Hardware:
- Once logged in, select the "Hardware" option from the navigation menu.
- Once logged in, select the "Hardware" option from the navigation menu.
- Select the Hardware:
- On the Hardware page, find and expand the server that contains the hardware you want to enable the HTTPS option.
- Select the hardware
- On the Hardware page, find and expand the server that contains the hardware you want to enable the HTTPS option.
- Turn On the “HTTPS” Option:
- After selecting the hardware, look for a “Status” option in the floating menu.
- Click on the "Status" option and then select the “On” button near the HTTPS option from the list.
- Confirm the action by clicking on the “YES, ENABLE” button in the confirmation modal.
- After selecting the hardware, look for a “Status” option in the floating menu.
- Verify the HTTPS status:
- After Enabling the HTTPS option, check the label under the hardware to ensure the HTTPS label is displayed
Turning Off the “HTTPS” Option
- Navigate to Hardware:
- Once logged in, select the "Hardware" option from the navigation menu.
- Once logged in, select the "Hardware" option from the navigation menu.
- Select the Hardware:
- In the Hardware page, find and expand the server that contains the hardware you want to disable the HTTPS option.
- Select the hardware
- In the Hardware page, find and expand the server that contains the hardware you want to disable the HTTPS option.
- Turn Off the “HTTP” Option:
- After selecting the hardware, look for a “Status” option in the floating menu.
- Click on the "Status" option and then select the “Off” button near the HTTPS option from the list.
- Confirm the action by clicking on the “YES, DISABLE” button in the confirmation modal.
- After selecting the hardware, look for a “Status” option in the floating menu.
- Verify the HTTPS status:
- After Disabling the “HTTPS” option, check the label under the hardware to ensure the HTTPS label is not displayed
