How To: Reboot Hardware

Rebooting hardware in The Boring Toolbox is simple and can be done individually or in bulk.  We currently support Axis, Hanwha, and Bosch.

Follow these steps to reboot the hardware:

Steps to Reboot Hardware

1. Navigate to Hardware:
   
   
   • Once logged in, select the "Hardware" option from the navigation menu.
     
2. Select the Hardware:
   
   
   • On the Hardware page, expand the server and select the hardware you want to reboot.
     
     
3. Reboot the Hardware:
   
   
   • After selecting the hardware, the "Control" button should appear in the floating menu.
   • Click on the "Control" button.
   • From the dropdown menu, select the "Reboot" option.
     
4. Confirm Reboot:
   
   
   • A confirmation dialog should appear. Confirm the reboot action by clicking on the "YES, REBOOT" button
