Disabling Hardware in The Boring Toolbox
Steps to Disable Hardware
- Navigate to Hardware:
- Once logged in, select the "Hardware" option from the navigation menu.
- Once logged in, select the "Hardware" option from the navigation menu.
- Select the Hardware:
- In the Hardware page, expand the server to locate the hardware you want to disable.
- Select the hardware you want to disable.
- In the Hardware page, expand the server to locate the hardware you want to disable.
- Disable the Hardware:
- After selecting the hardware, look for a "Status" option in the floating menu.
- Click on the "Status" option and then select the "Disable" button near the “Hardware Status” from the list.
- Confirm the action by clicking the "YES, DISABLE" button in the confirmation modal.
- Verify the Disabled Status:
- After disabling the hardware, check the “Status” column near the Hardware. If you can not find the hardware, ensure no filter is applied to hide disabled hardware in the grid.
- Look for a label showing the hardware is “Disabled.”

- Select the hardware you want to enable. If you can not find the hardware, ensure no filter is applied to hide disabled hardware in the grid.
- On the Hardware page, expand the server to locate the hardware you want to enable. (make sure there is no applied filter)
- Enable the Hardware:
- After selecting the hardware, look for a “Status” option in the floating menu.
- Click on the "Status" option and then select the “Enable” button near the “Hardware status” option from the list.
- Confirm the action by clicking the “YES, ENABLE” button in the confirmation modal.
- Verify the Enabled Status:
- After enabling the hardware, check the “Status” column near the hardware in the list
- Look for a label showing the hardware is “Disabled” is not displayed.
