Our BoringBot integration for Slack, allows you to receive notifications, report, and communicate with Milestone XProtect directly from your Slack messaging application. Here is how you install it.
Step 1: Add BoringBot to your Slack workspace

Step 2: Generate a token
Step 3: Choose a channel
BoringBot supports both public and private channels. You will use the /boring-connect command regardless of channel type.
Public Slack channel
All set. Nothing else to do.
Private Slack channel confirmation
To enable BoringBot to send notifications and files to a private channel, simply invite the bot using the /invite command.
