    Hi Sebastian Giulietti,

    This looks like an ODBC driver issue.  What version of Boring Toolbox Server complete are you trying to install?

    Boring Toolbox Server complete version is 5.20.1109

    SQL Server version is 14.0.1000.169

    I installed ODBC drivers 11, 14, 17. no luck

    I am having the same problem using version BoringServerComplete-5.21.1221 of server install. I get the message boring server complete but gives me the IM002 data source not found. In this article you have mentioned the client toolbox version, I am getting the message when installing the server. 

    Just to test I went ahead and installed the client toolbox version TheBoringToolbox-5.21.1221, then went back and installed the server again, and received the same message.

    Hi Rod,

    I see you already have a support ticket open for this so it will be best to continue to work through your issue with them.

    As for the error, IM002 data source not found, we did replicate this and posted a new version of the installer which fixes that.
